Description
Ingredients: Orange, Pumpkin, Pear, Peach, Apricot, Apple, Tangerine, Fig, Watermelon, Cherry, Glucose Syrup, Sugar
Candied fruit is an ancient preservation technique, having been introduced 4000 years ago in Egypt.
Crystallization consists of replacing a large part of the water in the fruits with sugar syrup, giving them a crystalline appearance. This technique prevents the fruit from deteriorating and, consequently, allows it to be kept for much longer, preserving some of the natural properties of the fruit.
